The president employs the use of transcendence. He is able to utilize tangible and concrete language to reconnect with the audience. He drifts the audience to other places and makes them visualize in their own eyes (Olive & David, 20). The use of examples in his speech rather than just being direct enables him to take control of the audience’s attention. The president says, â€Å"We started with less money in our campaigns. Our campaign was never supported financially by the white house; it began in Des Moines, Concord and Charleston’s the front porches.
